If you are a professional and would like to refer a patient or client to Start2Stop, this is often a helpful process to follow:
1. Email Fi Mackenzie, our Practice Manager, with a referral note, laying out the reasons for the referral, the name of the patient/client, and their contact details.

2. We will then acknowledge receipt of the referral and contact your patient/client, aiming to book them for an assessment as soon as possible.
3. Following the assessment, Start2Stop will write a letter to the referrer, laying out the assessment findings and recommendations.
Once a person has been admitted into treatment at Start2Stop, we will ask for consent to send weekly treatment updates to referrers and any other professionals involved in a client’s care.
