Common Addictions
- Addiction can be found not just in terms of a person’s relationship with drugs or alcohol, but also across behaviours. Behavioural addictions are known as ‘process addictions’, as distinct from ‘chemical addictions’ (which includes alcohol). Because it can often be hard to know what to look for, we have prepared simple and concise descriptions of the nine most common addictive processes, which we very much hope will be helpful.
